Getting to Scotland’s most remote pub might take a bit of work, but it’s worth the trip for the mountain and water views.
The Old Forge, located in the village of Inverie in Scotland’s Knoydart Peninsula requires either an 18-mile hike or a seven-mile ferry ride to get there.
Jean-Pierre Robinet, the pub’s current owner spoke out about the unique spot.
“It may be one of the only places in Europe where we get views like this of the mountain meeting the sea.”

The pub focuses on live music, and encourages people to bring their own instruments to play as well as pick up any that they find laying around in the pub.
